Airsal 70cc cylinder kit + head (45mm) aluminium Puch MV / VS / DS / VZ / MC / Velux etc.

This Airsal 70cc cylinder kit is intended for experienced mechanics looking for maximum performance. The kit includes a Airsal aluminium cylinder and cylinder head for installation on a Puch MV / VS. Fits without any problems in an R-engine, for all other engines you have to do some milling! You also have to use a matching manifold and the exhaust has to be made to fit! Only suitable for engines with forced air cooling!

Some modifications are required for installation. The crankcase must be bored to provide enough clearance for the larger cylinder base. In addition, a standard exhaust will not fit due to the different angle of the exhaust flange. You will also need a suitable intake manifold, as the original manifold does not fit.

• Piston with 12mm wrist pin

Important

• Does not fit every engine case without modifications, with the exception of the R-engine.
• Modified exhaust or suitable exhaust flange required
• Suitable intake manifold required; the original manifold will not fit

Note: When using this cylinder on a Puch Velux, the small opening next to the spool port in the engine block must be closed. This can be done, for example, with kneadable metal.

Installation advice

• We always advise to check and clean the cylinder before installation and to finish the ports in the cylinder with a 1000 grit sandpaper. This way the edges are no longer too sharp because of the Nicasil coating, this will considerably extend the life of the cylinder / piston.
