Is it plug and play to mount 12V lamp on a Puch Maxi K/KL? Or do I need battery? Can you guide me? ( Martin )

Not plug and play as a Maxi with original ignition has 6V 17W alternate current (AC). You need to convert it to direct current (DC) for LED. In that case, mount a rectifier. The light coil is 6V, this light is 12V so you also need to mount a 12V light coil. We have 35W and 50W light coils in our shop. More info: LED - Light coil 12V - Rectifier
