Gear wheel second gear Sachs 502 / 503 / 50/2 24 teeth

This is a special sprocket, newly calculated and designed and fits perfectly in the gearbox of Sachs 503 / 502 and 50/2 . The opposite sprocket (1st gear) remains the same! It is for the second gear and has 24 teeth instead of 22 (23 for 25kmh models). This makes the second gear 9% shorter (or 4.5%).

The combination of the special first and second gear cog (see related products)makes the bike's gearbox ideal for racing purposes. Example: If you shift from first to second gear at 11,000 rpm, you're at 7615 rpm. Without the two special gears, you would only be at 6,700 rpm. This can make a difference of 2 hp.
