- The use of high-quality C3 or C4 bearings is required for this crankshaft, as well as high-quality seals. The bearings must be installed according to the bearing manufacturer’s instructions without applying excessive loads to the crank webs or big-end.
- The recommended lubrication ratio when using this crankshaft is 1:30.
- The crankshaft is supplied including a special clutch nut and a high-end needle bearing.
- The crankshaft has an extended shaft on the clutch side, making it possible to use it in combination with a clutch cover equipped with a bearing. These covers will be added to the assortment later. The crankshaft can also be used without any issues without this cover, i.e. with a standard clutch cover.
Balance factor optimized for the most commonly used racing pistons. To achieve the correct balance factor without losing crankcase pressure, a combination of aluminum and tungsten has been used. This results in less vibration, more power, and a longer service life!
The circlip grooves/circlips position the crankshaft bearing on the clutch side; no further modification is required.
