In the early 1970s, Tunturi boldly explored a new direction by introducing a European-style lightweight moped to Finland, developed from the Puch Max – the Tunturi Mikro. Only 374 units were imported to Finland between 1969 and 1970, and the model never gained widespread popularity. So many Mikro mopeds ended up as Bingo grand prizes, only to be abandoned later – and this particular unit is one of them! This is my personal vision of what a Tunturi Mikro should look like.
